These are made up of experienced individuals who are making positive impacts in their chosen fields. They include:


Deacon Tunji Olugbodi is an accomplice professional in the brand and advertising industry.

            As a man of many parts, Deacon Olugbodi serves as the Executive Vice Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of Verdant Zeal Group, Africa’s emerging multinational marketing communications group headquartered in Lagos with two international branches in Ghana and The Gambia.

His illustrious career, spanning three decades in journalism, advertising, and enterprise development, has seen him pass through the walls of the Guardian Newspapers, SAAL Advertising, Promoserve-Grey and Prima Garnet before setting up Verdant Zeal in 2007.

            A prolific and eloquent speaker, Deacon Olugbodi is well-versed and he speaks at a number of gatherings, ranging from business to Social Change, Youth Empowerment, religion,  entrepreneurship, leadership, Strategic Networking, purpose discovery, nation building, etc


Rev. Israel Adelani Akanji, PhD is the President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention which has over 10,000 Baptist Churches in Nigeria alone, thirty-five Baptist Conferences and mission work in ten other African nations, and many missionaries both in Africa and the United Kingdom.

The Convention he serves is the second largest Baptist Convention in the Baptist World Alliance. Dr Akanji holds a Diploma in Theology, (DipTh) in 1987; a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology (BTh) in 1993; and Master of Theology (MTh) in 1995 from the prestigious Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, (NBTS) Ogbomoso.

Between 2005 and 2011, he proceeded to United Kingdom where he bagged his PhD in Practical Theology from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland in 2011. His PhD thesis centred on Towards a Theology of Conflict Transformation: A Study of Religious Conflict in Contemporary Nigerian Society, and this knowledge has buoyed his ministry within and out of the Baptist Convention.

Rev. Dr Israel Adelani Akanji is an experienced speaker in conferences, reviewer of books and writer of articles with many academic contributions to his credit.

Rev. Dr Israel Adelani Akanji, popularly called Zaki, is a man of the Spirit, and an exemplary leader who has always been dedicated to the peace and progress of the Nigerian Baptist Convention.

Meanwhile, in the past 33 years of his full-time ministry, he has been involved in ecumenism and came to limelight ecumenically in Abuja – as Chair, FCT Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (2012-2015); Chair, CAN FCT (2010-2016); Vice Chair, CAN North Central (2004-2012); Chair, CAN North Central (2016-till date); Member, NEC CAN (2010-till date); VP CCN (2019-till date) and Federal Commissioner, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (2018-till date).

Dr Israel Akanji is happily married to Pastor Mrs. Victoria Oluremi Sunshine Akanji, and the marriage is blessed with three godly and wonderful children. His hobbies include reading, jogging, singing, and watching movies.

By virtue of his position, Rev. Israel Adelani Akanji doubles as the Proprietor of Baptist Press Nigeria Limited.



He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria since 1992 and currently a fellow of the Institute. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Nigeria Institute of Management. Besides his core professional training and certifications, he attended Strategy Trainings in Manpower Planning and Personnel Development, Panning and Management Processes and in Dynamic Cost Management.



Rev. Dr Adelokoji Ijaola is the Publications Director of the Nigerian Baptist Convention. He was before his appointment, the Minister-in-charge of New Jerusalem City Baptist Church, Ikeja, Lagos. He has served in different capacities as Marketing Manager of International Telecommunications Company Limited; Marketing Executive at Lenoil Petroleum and Petrochemical Company Ltd, Lagos, etc

He attended The Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso Nigeria, for his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) Theology degree, the University of Lagos, and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria where he got his MBA in Business Administration and Management, and his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Chemical Engineering degrees respectively. He has passion for excellence and commissioned to raise leaders in all areas of life. As a Director of Baptist Press Nigeria Limited, he believes nothing is impossible and unachievable.



Mr. Elijah Oluwagbemiga Ajadi is the General Manager of Baptist Press Nigeria Limited. He is an accountant of repute; a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria who also holds a Diploma in Printing & Allied Trades.

He is self-motivated with strong drive for excellence His wealth of experience in management and printing spans over two decades.
